TURKEY & CABBAGE SALAD PRINT

TOOLS YOU WILL NEED:  Measuring cup & spoon, large bowl, 

plastic wrap to cover, large wooden mixing spoon, kitchen knife, 

cutting board plus additional items if optional ingredients are used.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup chopped cooked turkey
  • 1 cup packaged blend of red & green cabbage (see note below)
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries, cut in half or coarsely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Miracle Whip Light Dressing
  • Pineapple chunks, optional
  • 2 tsp chopped roasted nuts, optional (see note below)

DIRECTIONS:  Toss the turkey, cabbage & cranberries in a large 

bowl.  Add Miracle Whip & mix gently; cover & refrigerate to chill.  

When ready to serve toss in the pineapple & sprinkle the nuts on 

the top, if desired.

SERVINGS:  2                                                TIME:  20 minutes plus chill

TIPS:  Note 1:  If you prefer you can thinly slice red & green cabbage 

to make 1 cup; peel & then continue to peel some carrot adding this 

to the cabbage blend.  Note 2:  You can use packaged sliced roasted 

nut of choice, such as almonds or walnuts or you can place your own 

nuts on a baking sheet & bake them a couple minutes (until you can 

smell the nuts), watch carefully or they might burn.
