OVEN FRIES

TOOLS YOU WILL NEED:  Cutting board, heavy sharp kitchen knife, paper towels, measuring cup, two baking sheets, pan spray, vegetable brush, large bowl.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1-1/2 lb. baking potatoes (about 2 medium potatoes)
  • 1/4 cup Kraft Italian Reduced Fat Dressing
  • 1/4 cup Kraft Reduced Fat Parmesan Style Grated Topping

DIRECTIONS:  Preheat oven to 425°F. Using a vegetable brush ash potatoes & pat dry with paper towels. Cut into 1/4-inch thick strips; transfer to large bowl. Add dressing and grated topping; toss well.  Arrange potatoes in single layer on 2 large baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray. Spray potatoes with cooking spray.  Bake 12 min. Turn potatoes over with large spatula. Continue baking 10 to 12 min. or until golden brown and crisp. 

SERVINGS: 6                  TIME:  1 hour

SERVING TIPS:  To easily cut potatoes into strips, slice potato in half lengthwise so it lays flat on cutting board. This will hold it in place as you cut.  NOTE TO PARENTS:  Cutting potatoes should only be done by older teens under supervision.
