COWBOY KABOBS

TOOLS YOU WILL NEED:  skewers, large container to soak skewers, kitchen knife, cutting board, measuring cup, measuring spoon, plastic wrap to cover while in the refrigerator, long handle BBQ tongs/spatula, large glass dish to marinade kabobs.  ADULT denotes caution, should be done by older kids or an adult.

INGREDIENTS:

bullet18 wooden skewers (10-inch)
bullet1/3 cup A-1 Original Steak Sauce
bullet1/3 cup Kraft® Original Barbecue Sauce
bullet2 tsp Kraft® Prepared Horseradish
bullet1 1/2 LB beef top round steak, (ADULT: cut into 1/2-inch strips)
bullet18 pearl Onions or 1/8 wedge of sweet onion
bullet18 strips of red bell pepper (ADULT: cut)
bullet18 strips of green bell pepper (ADULT: cut)
bullet18 strips of yellow bell pepper (ADULT: cut)
bullet18 cherry or grape tomatoes (optional)

DIRECTIONS: Soak skewers in cold water for at least 30 minutes, longer is better.  Meanwhile, mix steak sauce, barbecue sauce & horseradish until well blended; set aside.  Thread steak strips & vegetables on each skewer.  Place kabobs in a glass dish; coat with the sauce mixture.  Cover & refrigerate 1 hour, turning occasionally.  ADULT place kabobs on grill over medium coals.  Grill 4 to 6 minutes or until steak is cooked through, turning occasionally.  To cook in the kitchen broiler broil kabobs 4 to 6 inches from heat 4 to 6 minutes or until cooked through, turning occasionally.
